Need help with #1-3
Maturation and Mortality
#1 A model is developed that desribes the presence of milking "herds as the strongest predictor variable explaining patterns of fJ, stature in ten human populations. If Maasai herders exhibit large scores for this variable and Aka foragers do not exhibit this trait at all, is it possible to predict which population might be taller? What other traits might help to explain stature differences in these two groups?
#2 Paleodemographic estimates of life expectancy for past skeletal populations of humans suggest life past 50 years was uncommon, while older people well-past 50 years have been found in every single forager group known (Konigsberg and Herrmann, 2006). Why might this discrepancy exist?
#3 Do you think that grandmothers, fathers, or others more consistently provisioned weaned dependents until adulthood during the evolution of an elon gated human life history? Why?
Explanation / Answer
#1 yes, it is possible if we introduce a new variable "h" in this model then it is possible to predict the tallest population the other traits or variables are we can consider time for how long this/that population is tallest, which population is dominant & so on.
#2 this discrepancy exists because of the accuracy of Paleodemographic studies is not 100% it should have some errors by Paleodemographic studies we can only predict this/that happens in past while older people have seen the past.
#3 difficult to answer this problem it depends on family history
