I need help with the hand written calculations to make the QQ Plot.
When making a QQplot for 2 data sets with unequal sample sizes we do the following: 1 Start with the data set with the smallest sample size say n_1 2 Make a table computing the quantiles p = i-5/n_1 for i = 1,2. . . , n_1 3 Then you need to find the corresponding quantiles, Q_2(P), of the larger data set for each p you get in step 2 4 Lastly you plot Q_1(p) vs Q_2(p) Exercise: Suppose you have the following data: X_1 = (4,5,6,10) X_2 = (5,8,9,10,11,13) There will be 4 coordinate pairs in a QQplot for X_1 and X_2.
