A segment measures 3 cm in the drawing and in reality measures 30mts. What is the scale of the drawing?
Need help solving the whole page
ty measures 30 mts. What is the scale oft 1. A segment measures 3 cm in the drawing and in reali the drawing? whose scale is E 2. What measure must we draw in cm, a dimension in reality of 0.5 Km in a plane l: 10,000 3. If we know that the dimension of the drawing is 2 cm. Indicates the scale of each drawing? (the dimension lines always indicate the actual measurement) -40 cm 20 cm 2 em 4. If on a plane two villages are separated by 5cm, and in reality they are separated by 2km. What is the scale of the plane? 5, Measures the distance between points AB, BC and AC and calculates the actual distances between peoples ESCALA 1:400000 OB Rfo ??Explanation / Answer
1) 3cm in plane equals 30m=30x100 cm=3000 cm in reality.
so the scale ratio should be 3/3000 and the scale is therefore 1:1000
2) Given that scale is E 1:10000 i.e. 1 cm in plane is equal to 10000 cm = 100 m in reality.
and we have that 0.5 km = 500 m
so for 500 m real distance we will draw 5cm in paper.
3) In the first image 2cm is equal to 40 cm . So scale is 2/40 or 1:20
In second image 2cm is equal to 20 cm . So scale is 2/20 or 1:10
In third image 2cm us equal to 2cm. So scale is 2/2 or 1:1
4) On plane the distance between villages is 5cm and in reality it is 2km = 200000 cm. So scale will be
5/200000 or 1:40000
5) For 5 th part of the question you need to measure the distance between AB with a scale (you have to measure it on the given paper to get the correct result) . Suppose it comes out to be L cm. Also the scale of paper is given to be 1:400000 . So the actual distance between AB will be Lx400000 cm or Lx4 km.
Similarly you can do it for BC and AC. This you have to do yourself as I dont have the paper with me. If you find any difficulty then just measure the distances by scale and then tell me and I will find you the actual distances.
