You are called in to help Walstart evaluate the effectiveness of their training program.
1. What learning theory is used in Waldart’s training? Explain your answer.
2. Describe the training methods used by Waldart.
3. You are asked to evaluate the training outcome based on Kirkpatrick’s four level model. Describe, how you would, hypothetically evaluate each of the four criteria? Give examples of what questions you may ask, and what performance criteria would you assess. (Think back to what you learned in performance measurement)

b. Learning
c. Behavior
d. Results
Explanation / Answer
Observational Learning and Lecture method are used in Waldart's training. The employees are trained to identify shoplifters through observation here. They are taught to understand the non verbal behaviour of a shoplifter using videos. Lecture method is also employed to teach them policies and procedures in the current scenario. This learning can be evaluated by Kirkpatrick's four level model.
Reaction:
The psychologist can conducted individual and group session to address the following questions:
Do you find the trainign relevant to your current situation?
Did you find the training useful?
Did you find the training knowledgeable?
Was the training program engaging?
Learning
Paper pencil test and Interview based on the content of the workshop and training can be carried out to assess the subject knowledge acquired.
Behaviour

Results
The results from the assessments are analyzed using quantitatively and qualitatively . This will prove the efficiency of the training program conducted by the employer.
