Explanation / Answer

Mnemonics and Chunking are the commonly used memory encoding techniques apart from state encoding and context encoding. Mnemonics is a method where on could use stories where all these grocery items come in order and another method with mnemonics is acronym (in this case, Memorices) in which the first letter of each word could be made into a word. Chunking is a method where similar items are grouped together, so that it becomes easy to remember. These techniques allow us to retrieve the information which is organized well during the time of encoding, easier.
