The total blood flow in ml/min through all of the systemic arteries is equal to the cardiac output.
Cardiac output = stroke volume x heart rate
stroke volume = end diastolic volume - end systolic volume
= 180 - 150
= 130 ml
Heart rate = 60/RR interval
= 60/0.47
= 127
Cardiac output = 130 x 127
= 16510 ml/min
Therefore, the total blood flow in ml/min through all of the syatemic arteries is 16510 ml/min.
Similarly, the total blood flow in ml/min through all of the pulmonary capillaries is equal to the cardiac output of the right ventricle. It will be same as calculated above which is equal to 16510 ml/min.
The velocity of blood will be slower in blood vessels with narrow diameter. Capillaries have smaller diameter when compared with arteries and therefore, blood velocity is slower in capillaries.
