Anemia is defined as decreased concentration of hemoglobin in blood with respect to age and gender of the individual.
We know that RBC s contain the hemoglobin and oxygen is transported in combination with it to different parts of the body. Therefore in Anemia there is less oxygen being transported because of reduced hemoglobin. This leads to respiratory insufficiency causing reduced rate of metabolism and reduced energy production, therefore more fatigue.
