1. the two major clinical problems encounterd in severely burnt patients incluses infection or sepsis and edema formation and lack of resusciation which may increase the size and/or depth of the wound which is the biggest consequence in severely burnt patients.
2. the skin is the outermost layer which comprised of dead cells. the water content of these cells is less so there is the less chances of the bateria to multiply here. also skin contains sebacious glands that produces oils which helps in killing of certain microbes.
3. acne is the affection of skin characterized by the several types of the pimples, including the whiteheads, the blackheads, the nodules, the cysts, the pustules and the papules. They grow when the hair follicles (pores) gets plugged up with the natural skin oil and the dead cells. They look like some little red bumps or may be large lumps on skin, depending on the severity, some develops head.
4. the main function of dermis is to support epidermis, which increases exchange of oxygen, the nutrients, and the waste products between these two layers. Additionally, there is increase in the surface area which prevents dermal and the epidermal layers from separating them from each other by strengthening junction between them.
