1) Diana, 50 years old female has suffered from severe chest pain. The pain is radiated towards neck and lower jaw and is not releived by nitroglycerine. She also has a strong family history of heart disease. Therefore, the diagnosis is acute myocardial infarction.

2) Myocardial infarction occurs when blood supply to the heart is abruptly stopped. It occurs when there is a block in coronary arteries.

3) The laboratory tests that can be used in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction includes measuring the levels of troponin and electrocardiogram.

4) It can be treated by coronary artery bypass graft. Medications include beta blockers, ACE inhibitors, anti platelet drugs.
