Explanation / Answer

Children are indeed the most exploited of oppressed people. Child labour and sexual exploitation does not emit any kind of protesting from young children. Children are often not aware of the cruel world out there. They are unable to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. They often follow as directed by a guardian or an elder.

Thus, the statement that children are the most exploited of oppressed people, is true.

A developed nation is already developed and consists of the first world countries. Developing nations on the other hand are yet in the process of developing and are far from being developed. It consists of the third world countries. Developed nations focus on the well-being of their citizens and provide the best for them. However, developing nations also want the well-being of their citizens but are unable to provide which results in poverty, diseased and child deaths. The facilities and amenities are not provided.

Thus, the statement that developing nations have the highest number of poor, diseased,
and child deaths, is true.

The term "modernization" clearly has an ethnocentric bias. Ethnocentric bias refers to perceptions of a person influenced by the culture of one's own ethnic group. Modernization would have not existed if a few sects of the group did not believe in it.

Thus, the above statement is false as the term "modernization" has an ethnocentric bias.

Jobs in industrialized urban areas offer the best means of upward mobility in developing countries. It provides individuals with the best opportunities which help them climb the ladder of hierarchy which helps in upward mobility.
