Driverless car or autonomous car is a very interesting and intriguing topic that requires great amount of technology and implementing them to the society always comes with fair amount of problems and the one we are talking about are the ethical ones whether we saves ourself or a group of people but before that we should look at the benefits a driverless car can bring, from my point of view i can see many benefits but the biggest one that i can tell would be decrease in the amount reckless driving accidents whether that person is driving under the influence or he/she is having a health issues such as seizure or vision impairment these type of situation always end with multiple casualty and having a car that can operate on its own can greatly decrease these type of accident and save many lives.
But going back to the ethical issues i can see why people myself included are hesitant to buy such car that hold the power to decide who lives and dies, I would like to make a suggestion that can evade such situation to ever occur i would like the car companies to make a technology or use the one we already have make it possible for the driverless car and our phone or other device to other talk to each other so if the person is in the certain range the car known and slows down before coming in contact.

Driverless car can lead to significant reduction in the number of the accident, especially those that happen due to driver's negligence.Share of such accident is very high, thus driverless car provides a great opportunity to save life from the accident.
However, ethical issues surrounding it equally significant. It may reduce the death of people in car accident but how it will ensure that pedestrian are not harmed. This can be achieved through an automated system that will detect the person at a certain range, and slow down to not hit him hard.
This will ensure the safety of men walking on the road beside reducing collision between two vehicle.
