Grand canyon university provide the oppurtunity for faster institutional review board approval.

My research does not qualify for expedited status because it involves more than minimal risk to living human

Moreover, it involves procedures other than listed on corresponding categories.

The most challenging part is getting approval in case if non expedited process . For expedited it takes 2 weeks time on average , but for non expedited it may takes atleast 2 months process and it involves rigorous examinatiobeby IRBs to ensure safety of pricedures, informed consent of subjects etc.
