Explanation / Answer
Ans. 1
Based on MIT technology review, Technology is causing Automation. New technology is increasing in each and every field like manufacturing, clerical, retail, education, law, medicines etc. due to which prospect of job looks very dismal in every field. Fact is technology should create job but rather it is destroying it. It has caused stagnation of median income and inequality in US and other advanced countries. The review says that there is growth in productivity and economy but there is weak growth In jobs. Technology is advancing very fast but people are falling behind as their skills are not keeping up with the pace of technology. Recent digital advances have made many jobs safer, easier and productive but at the same time it has led to loss or reduction of human workers. Modern automotive plants, robots and computers have led to reduction in human workers. Automation has caused increased in productivity but has also resulted in white collar jobs. A warehouse equipped with robots can handle up to four times more order than nonautomated warehouse. A warehouse with human workers can not handle the same order. The other best example now is Amazon's bricks and mortar store where everything is fully automated with minimum human power.

Yes, I find it strange because Amazon is responsible of shutdown of many retail stores world wide and now they are opening their own bricks and mortar store. Amazon would do this thinking that Amazon offline stores can further increase their Amazon online sales. By opening bricks and mortar store Amazon is showing its full faith and trust in customers where customers can walk in the store, pick their requirements from the shelf and then immediately billing is done based upon sensos which tracks items which a customer keeps in the basket. Everything is automated. There is no chance of stealing from the stores as there are sensors placed everywhere in the store. People can even purchase items online on Amazon and can then go to Amazon store for pickup of those items.
Ans 3.
Science is a system of acquiring knowledge based on scientific method where as technology creates products which solves problems and improves human life. Hence, we can say technology is practical application of science. Nanotechnology has revolutionized many sectors such as medicine, agriculture, food etc.
