Explanation / Answer

Ans 1...the anatomical postion of kidney is posterior.it is a retro peritonial organ that lies behind the peritoneum and close to the posterior abdomen wall that's why it's surgery is performed from posterior side

Ans 2.....renal stones in renal pelvis obstruct the flow of urine from kidney.it leads to decrease urine output

Renal stones obstruction causes back pressure in kidney which leads to hydronephrosis.moreover it irritates the nerves that's why are very painful

Most common composition of kidney stone is calcium oxalate.

Ans 3...Rugae are the mucosal folds seen when the bladder is empty.when bladder fills it expands and Rugae fills and disapperar.so in given condition in ques the urinary bladder must have distended in 2 hours and filled up thus the Rugae would have less prominence now.

The urinary bladder is lined by transitional epithelium also known as umbrella cells which is impermeable and doesnt allow passage of fluid from urinary bladder into body.
