A person basic requirement was food, home, security, health which need to be provided by the country to their respective citizens. every country wants that their people will contribute to the welfare of the country this only happens when they were healthy. hospitals, clinic etc is there in every country. but healthcare system is way different from them. healthcare system includes many other activities too which help any country to establish a proper one system throughout the country. type of hospital system, patient care, insurance heath provide and all the legal issue where cover in the healthcare system.of any country.
in America, Obamacare id one of this kind which recently rollout because of many reasons. this generates one terminology among us that what different type of healthcare system are there and what are their drawbacks and what are other countries approach them. so we found that there is two type of healthcare system: healthcare saving accounts and other is the government-run single-payer system.
difference between them:
overview: HSA is a tax advantage over the taxpayer in the united state for the medical saving. basically, the tax fund which collects from the citizen is collected in their respective account which comes under the high-deductible health plan and then it further uses by you if anything happens to you while living which affect your health. whereas Single-payer health care is a healthcare system financed by the taxes which were paid by the citizen of country and it will cover all the residents of the country whether you paid or not.
different countries follow different healthcare system which they choose according to several factors like, GDP, total population, literacy rate, no of taxpayers. etc. many countries choose single-payer healthcare and the best example of it was Canada. they also have the province of public health insurance plan for all residents.
GDP spending: US provide 17.7 % of their GDP to health sector which makes the single payer system more advance as compared to other countries especially the Europeans countries like UK 9.4%, Germany 11.3 %, France 11.6 % etc.
Improvement: HSA is much better than single- payer because consumer satisfaction is much more in HSA, as they can control their unnecessary spending and penalty of tax and which make other expense less costly as compare to single-payer.
both of the healthcare has its own drawback which makes then less perfect for any developed countries but as many countries like Canada, united kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, New Zealand etc also some want to use the single-payer system which makes single payer more used as compare to HSA. but the usage of HSA can be seen mostly in private as well as military services which are more stable and more efficient in every means because of quality and people satisfaction on every activity which they provide.
