What would you do? How would you do it?

Explanation / Answer

As a CEO, one must define the goals of the company. The vision and mission statements of the company must be clearly defined. The vision and mission statements must be realistic. They should be defined by considering the fact and figures of the business in the market. CEO must define the structure of the organization along with HR team. The structure must cover the all the teams that are responsible for all the tasks. CEO then must recruit the employees for each position in the structure. There should be levels of upper management, middle management and lower staff. CEO has to go for group meetings along with all the management people. He must collect the information on planning and scheduling of the task.

CEO has to freeze the Cost budget of the project by allocating budget to each task such as buying, processing, warehousing, marketing etc. Then the project structure has to be created which defines the timeliness of each task. The timeliness of the project is needed to be agreed by all the management people. Contingency plan has to be created in order to mitigate the risk of delay in the project.

CEO has to ensure that all the tasks are being performed according to the timeliness/Cost budget defined and everything in place. In order to do that, he or she needs to have weekly, daily or monthly reviewing of the tasks. CEO must get information on the performance of the tasks through analyzed data. CEO must find ways and should take necessary decisions on the improvement of tasks.
