Explanation / Answer

With the wide availability of the internet, the advent of free content and the ability that it gives people to be able to adapt that to their own form and essentially create another art form entirely has occurred. I do agree that if laws such as copyright and trademarks are enforced to such an extent that it hinders this process of creation, will essentially cause creativity to become a thing of the past. All digital media right now is in some form. Developed from some other, therefore, it will become. Increasingly hard for people to create such works which require the consent and legal support of the system to be able to be fully realized will impact us all negatively. These laws are both a necessity and a hindrance to creativity, especially in art forms that sample or utilize the work done by another it is almost like saying g citations are bad because we are essentially sampling somebody else's efforts and therefore, our scientific paper is unoriginal and copied.

By going through all the three stories that Lawrence Lessig presented, it provides an accurate representation of what it would mean for people if the laws were enforced to a point that it'll eventually become trespassing to even view any such material. For art to be born and creativity to prosper, it needs a little push, a little openness and minimum oversight that guarantees the rights of the original user are maintained. Sampling is, and always will be a relevant part of art and not allowing people to use others work would not let art grow.
