Question
Please use simple C++ commands and libraries. This is a beginning c++ class and I can't be using obscure libraries/algorithms/commands in my code.
A local zoo wants to keep track of how many pounds of food each of its three monkeys eats each day during a typical week. Write a program that stores this information in a two dimensional 3 x 7 array, where each row represents a different monkey and each column represents a different day of the week. The prgram should first have the user input the data for each monkey. Then it should create a report that includes the following infromation.
Explanation / Answer
#include<iostream>
#include<string>
using namespace std;
int main()
{
string day[7] = {"Sunday","Monday","Tuesday","Wednesday"...
int x,i;
double average, total[3] = {}, totalall = 0, pounds[3][7];
for(x=0;x<=2;x++)
{
cout << "Enter amount of food consumed by monkey " << x + 1;
for(i=0;i<=6;i++)
{
cout << day[i] << " : ";
cin >> pounds[x][i];
while(pounds[x][i] < 0)
{
cout << "You have entered a negative value. Please try again : ";
cin >> pounds[x][i];
}
total[x] = total[x] + pounds[x][i];
totalall = totalall + total[x];
}
}
system("PAUSE");
return 0;
}
