Question

Formatting specificc cells via filter

I have a column of numbers that need a tad bit of formatting. Some are preceded by '. I want to get all of the numbers into a #### format. I haave tried filterring by" ', then using a formula to remove the ' in a helper cell and copy back to the original source. However, the filter featurre seems to mess this up. Any clues on how to do this? There are 20,000 cells, so I cannot do it by handd.
