Question
Imagine that a new person who holds an important position (CEO, department supervisor, etc.) has been hired at your workplace. This information has to be conveyed to a variety of audiences. Think about 3 different groups that would need to know (e.g. physicians, clients, other staff) and different ways the information could be communicated (Facebook page, email, etc.).
In your first post, describe the 3 different ways you would communicate this information to the 3 different audiences (name them). How would the language, tone or other elements you use in each method differ?
Note: "meet and greet" or "luncheon" examples are not acceptable formats for introducing the new employee in this scenario. Because this is a writing class, your introductions must use written formats.
Explanation / Answer
Let us take the same three target audience of physicians, staff, and clients. I would use email as the communication channel for the staff and the physicians to keep the communication very formal and short. Below mentioned would be the email I am going to send to them.
Dear Staff and Physicians,
First of all, I would like to thank you for being a part of our organization and we have seen some tremendous growth over the years. I would like to congratulate you on all the success.
I am writing today to inform you all that Mr. X has joined our organization as the new CEO and I would like you all to welcome him. Mr. X was previously working for the organization ABCD as the Vice President of Business Operations. I am sure he is going to be a great addition to the top management of the company and take us all in the right direction in the coming year. I wish you all a great success in the coming years as well and I encourage you all to continue working together and produce more excellent results under his leadership.

For the clients, I would use Facebook and Twitter to announce the news.
I would use a picture of him and create a friendly post asking the clients to welcome the new CEO of the company. I would ask the marketing team to write a blog post which can be attached to the image and customers can read the blog to know more about the new CEO and his vision for the company. The same process can be followed for both Facebook and Twitter.
