While considering the project management communication plays a vital role in the successful accomplishment of the project. If the communication is effective the ambiguity in the team is reduced and the information required for the completion of the project is shared effectively. While communicating the tone of voice and body language also play a vital role in the listener's understanding and the perception.
for example, while in a meeting if the manager speaks about a particular task and provides stress to that task in a serious tone, the listeners can understand that that specific task has to be provided ultimate attention and priority. The tone of communication which is feeble and confusing can affect the understanding level of the customers. This can affect the efficiency of individuals due to lack of proper information sharing. Under som circumstances, the tone of the speaker will generate ambiguity and tension in the individuals which can affect the performance of the employees.
The body language of the speaker also can interrupt the listeners and can cause disruptive results for the project. if the speaker is simply shaking his hands while speaking, this can interrupt the listening of the participants and can result in lack of understanding about the project properly. This can affect the effective project completion.
