There are various types of energy manager but the one that interests me more are the one engaged in management of utilities (electricity) production. They interest me more because of the technical nature of the job as well as high scope in the job.
The current field of Energy Management and Conducting Energy Audits will help to understand the management of the utilities and understanding the best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of management.
The areas I know least about is the principles of energy based companies accounting and financial principles.
I learned more about the managers who managed utilities and perform audits.
There are many things I learned about energy managers but the more important of them is there job is planning, organizing, leading and control the energy sector by application of best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sector.
