I will rate LIFESAVER and and rate every comment if I can get some help.

I would like to have step by step instructions to make a semi-simple iphone app that will use the tab bar ui with just two buttons on the bottom, and the nav controller to open a view for when someone clicks a button in that tab. SCENARIO: tab 1 and tab 2 are on the bottom. In tab one there is a few buttons, when one is pressed a view comes up with some content and an option to return back to tab1, and the same scenario for tab2.

I have searched many many hours for tutorials and explanations and can not find anything. Most of the youtubers or online blogs use xcode3 and I can not get it to work.

Please help!
