Chapter 2 : Boot Loaders.
Chapter 7 : The X Window System
Go through every section in these chapters and provide evidence that you have an understanding of the various elements of them.
For example:
If you choose the GRUB boot loader, explain why and provide evidence you have utilized this.
One way to provide evidence is to submit your configuration files for the various components where appropriate.
Try the various desktop interfaces to X. Indicate the similarities and differences and why you would choose one over another.
