1. How did your team members respond to your team leadership? In order to answers this questions, you will need to ask for and gather specific feedback from your team members.
Ans- I am a captain of my Cricket team and as a captain I must get enough votes every year of my team mates. And without much anti votes, I win and play as a captain every year from past 4 years. I keep on asking my team mates to tell me when ever I am wrong any where on the field and off the field. I always welcome any suggestions from team mates on how to win out games and this is why our winning percentage is 81% which is excellent. I keep on doing surveys about my decisions as a captain in team selection and on field decisions. This helps me in understanding my position between my team mates. Besides this I keep on surprising them by giving surprise treats or birth day wishes and we always celebrate all birthdays together. team bounding is very good as we visit each other houses as well. Before any tournament and before any match we keep on rotating the meeting places from each members house to park etc.
Many a times my team members oppose my decision but eventually they realize later that the decision taken was the best one in that situation of any game and thus respect increases which I can see in their eyes and in their behaviour as well. So trust is a key factor along with team bonding, surprise element and collective decision with a human touch which means regular conversations with tema mates about theri life and famly beyond game.
