Public Health Problem for Indian community is defecating in the open, throwing garbage in neighborhood and cleanliness of the city. The public health problem is stated above and the objective is Clean India.
The government has launched a mission named as Clean India to address the issues of Cleanliness in the village, city, neighborhood and for the nation as a whole.
The goals of this intervention is to build public toilets across the country, install wastage bins, educate citizens on the need of driving cleanliness and building a healthier neighborhood and country which is less prone to diseases and health problems.
The government and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is driving the initiative with lot of commitment but a greater support is also needed from the citizens to make it successful. However monitoring compliance and keeping a vigil is not being done effectively which is leading to gaps.
In order to solve the problem of compliance, government and ministry can divide the larger initiative into smaller sub projects assign to project management offices and drive the successful implementation.
