1. Role Model: A leader should be my role model because then only other s will think of following him and becoming like him.
2. Personality: the leader should have a good personality. Then only others will be attracted to him and carry the urge in them to interact with him.
3. Character: the character of a leader counts very much. This is because human is a social animal and in any society people with sound character are kept higher. He should have moral values and beliefs.
4. Communication: A leader should be able to communicate well with others. He should be clear and specific and must have the tactics to understand what other say. He should reach the minds of the people.
5. Influence: the leader should be influential then only he can make followers. He can get things done by people only when others accept him and are ready to do as he says.
6. Knowledge and expertise: A leader should have good knowledge on the matter in concern. People should have keen desire to learn from him. They hold have the faith that the leader can help them out whenever they are stuck.
7. Selfless: The leader should work for the benefit of the people who have faith in him that he will stand for their rights. So, at times of need he must selflessly work to help his followers.
8. Empathy: A leader should have empathy and compassion towards his followers. So that he can be connected to them by heart and they feel free to keep their minds in front of him. He must also be a good listener.
9. Team building: the leader should believe on uniting people so that they are work together to achieve individual as well as organization goals.
10. Transformational leader: the leader should affect the people mind to create long lasting impacts. He should not bring temporary changes in people.
