Explanation / Answer

Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to form a judgment. The subject is complex, and there are several different definitions which generally include the rational, skeptical, unbiased analysis or evaluation of factual evidence

critical thinking is the process of collection of facts, analysis of the facts for drawing a valuable output or judgement related to any particular aspect or problem. in this process, we need to think in a different and realistic way, we need to understand the situation in realistic way, prepare assumptions to go further, collect all relevant and define boundaries and finally define problem and go for solution.

1. one of the problem i recently find in my organization is about senior employee in our organization. as a manager i need to assess the performance of higher cader in my organization. one of the employee is there who is having more than 30 years experience in our firm (i am junior than him). i found that his production levels or performacne levels have been decreased recent times and is noticed. usually if i found any one with less performance, i give a chance initially and if it continues i fired them.

but this case is different than regular, i need to deal it with much care and many aspects must be considered in this.

2. the most important aspect here is ethical issue, the person spend almost his life to this firm and delivered much to this firm. now he becomes older and not able to perform like earlier, what should i do? i can not fire him simply, it is against to my policy. i should consider his service, the contribution to the firm and his great services too.

3. here the issue is clear to understand, the employee is working for the same firm for more than 3 decades with best output. due to age factor he is not able to perform the tasks well now and time to take a decision against him. i should not only strict to the concept of best commercial, but also concern ethical values here and take a decison.

4. to solve this problem, first i need to search are there any cases like this earlier in this firm or in any other firm which i known. second one, how i proceed in this, with self ideas or do i take suggestions or guideliness from others.

5. if i find similar cases in the past in the same organizaiton, it will be easy to solve the problem. because there are some strategies already implemented and resolved here itself. but if there are no such problems earlier, now i must take suggestions and guideliness from seniors and other managerial cader people. definitely these two alternatives help me to find better alternative to this probelm.
