I have received my MBA Diploma in Finance and Economics. I will take following steps to improve my personal brand:
1.The first step will be to develop my expertise in the area of specialization
My specialization is Finance and Economics. I will choose a particular area such as equity finance and will work according to this subdomain. It will develop my understanding of the practical issues, existing issues in the equity market, the probable solutions, merit and demerits of each solution as well as innovative ideas related to new ways of equity finance. It will bring confidence as well as the experience of troubleshooting dealing with the issue of equity finance. It is the first step that will give the pre-requisites to build a personal brand.
2. In the second step, I will create a web presence and start writing and publishing my views about the equity finance
I will build a website (paid or free) to air my views in the form of blog, articles and opinion pieces. It will be based upon the issues faced by the financial markets, the solutions and causes of the problems and the method to resolve it. It will give deep insights to the readers and these people will start recognizing my views and ideas. It will be a step forward toward towards the personal branding. Some of the people will start following me and some of them will become and a critic of my ideas. It will also add to my recognition.
3. In the third step, I will spread my presence using social media profiles.
Here, I would like to subdomain specific content, my views and social humor to engage with the notable people and influencers besides making the followers. It will make major search engines to recognize me as a personality that is well established and recognized. At this stage, the organizations and other influential people will also start recognizing me. A timely views and opinion pieces upon the current fiancé and economic issues will add to the versatility to my brand.
4. In the fourth step, I will develop case studies and participate in conferences
The case studies will bring notice of the reputed organization and students and they can take my work more seriously. The participation in conferences will create an opportunity to interact with the other notable writers, authors and influences that will help in network building.
5. In the final and fifth stage, I will give attention upon the networking.
In this step, my focus will be to participate in seminar, conferences and workshops being organized by different industry associations. I will participate and build relations with the people from corporate, government bodies and scholars as well. A consistent effort, will contribute to the development of a personal brand among those who belong to the area of finance and economic as well as the niche segment of equity finance.
