Part 1:

Process to partitioning the hard drive:

First, open the Disk management of the computer.

When you will open Disk management you will find a message a there something like “you must initialize the disk before logical disk manager access it”.

They there will a message asking about the style for new hard drive. you must choose the style.

Now, locate the hard drive partition that you want to partition.

Then you will find the space that you want to partition. Then there click the right button and choose the new simple volume option.

Click on next to specify the size of the new volume.

Click on the next to assign drive letter or path steps.

Now choose do not format this volume and click on the next button.

Now provide the specification that you want in the new partition.

Now tab and click on the finish button.

Possible troubleshooting issues:

There may be problem in connectivity.

May be problem in bios setup.

May be error in driver setup.

May be misconception in the partitioning issues.

Advantages of partitioning the hard drive:

Formatting will increase the security.

Formatting will improve the performance.

Disadvantage of partitioning the hard drive:

Partitioning will slower the data moves from one pc to another pc.

Difficulty level increase in the setup.
