No using Uber does not simply mean using an app to call for a ride but it is more of making an online purchase from a Logistic provider. When we book a Uber Cab ride we have to login into the app enter our details of pickup location, destination location and sometimes desired time to reach the location. Then the app provides with the options of different cabs available with them like economy or premium. After which the ride is confirmed and through GPS tracking system nearest Uber Cab is sent message regarding the booking. Then the cabs arrived at the pickup location. In Uber share cab facility, any other passenger travelling through the same route also book a cab. The system of Logistics help in optimising the available resources with their which also improve the efficiency of service to the customers, the back-end integrated system of logistics and Technological system helps in improving the logistics of the company.
