Alice is on good terns with the owner of the facility, Mr. Dobbs, and could go to him directly, but she is concerned that Mr. Stevens will be upset if she goes over his head. Explanation / Answer

1.Mrs. Alice is a director of nurse therefore lots of responsibility come in to her shoulder especially responsibility of nurse's work she acts as a midpoint between owner of the nursing home and nurses therefore if there is any problem arises from any point wether from nurse or nursing home that alice is only the answerable person at this point of time problem is raised from nurses about culturally intended remarks and steven not appropiate remarks at this time Alice has choice of :

*she has to demand the respect of nurse who is working under her.she can directly talk to steven about his remarks in a possitive manner bh convensing him that his remarks getting nurses demotivated and they are not able to concentrate on work as director of nurses i felt concern about it therefore i am talking to you about issue .

*she can bring up in front of steven in appropiate manner.

*Alice should try to resolve the problem by talking and communicating to steven directly inspite of going to mr.Dobbs its seems you are bitching about him if you will talk to him dobb inspite of steven.

*Alice has to be objective about concern and should not emotional .she has to go to steven with the solution of the problem.

2.If alice decided not to act at this time just because of being selfish and thinking about her dues and concern about next job than the ramification will be nurses has to tolerate steven's inappropiate remarks and they will keep demotivated ,it might be possible after some time left rhe jo because no one like to work in such circumstances inspite of all that steven does not aware about his remarks making nurses demotivated and they are getting hurt .he will keep doing same.

3.If I will alice i will definately discuus the issue with steven .I will try to approach him possitively and make him aware what he is doing is wrong it definately go negative for nursing home at the end as nurses will not happy therefore we can not get better service from them therefore its necessary stop remarking them and i will not think about my personal issues becuase its possible he can also remark me tommorw threfore its necessary to raise voice .
