Explanation / Answer

r1 and r2 are in parallel so equivalent resistance = (r1 * r2)/(r1+r2) = 18/9 =2 ohm

now r3 is in series with them so

Rtotal = r3 + Req = 2+2=4 ohm

so total current in the system = 24/4 = 6amp

1. through r3 it will be 6 amp

2. current divides itself in inverse ratio of resistors so for

r1 = 3*6/9 = 2 amp

3. r2 = 6*6/9 = 4 amp

4. across r3 it will be equal to VI = 6*2 =12 V

5.across R1 = 6*2 = 12 V

6. across R2 = 3 * 4 = 12 V

7. it will be 6 amp
