2.The article relates to termination of the women employee before her pregnancy and the reason that was given to her was that she did not fulfill the quota target. The article states that pregnancy cannot be ground of termination but performance based termination is valid and state and federal laws do not protect the termination on the basis of performance.
a.The main point is that discrimination laws are meant for protection only against genuine case and not for all reasons.
b.The legal principle is certain that discrimination protects only one who is being treat in wrong way and being discriminated on the basis of race religion in any employment. However it cannot be misused or used as the umbrella organization to protect all kinds of activity even if that doent fall under the domain discrimination.
c. The author position is clear and wants to make us aware of the situation that not all cases of termination can be protected under discrimination law.
d.My position is same as that of author; however the discrimination is something that also is a matter of trial at court. If the women feels that she has been discriminated she can go for trial in court.
e. My position is based on the fact that may be she is fired for being pregnant and because of pregnancy she could fulfill the quota set and that this can be matter of trial and she can get justice under discrimination laws.
