IT- Governance
It is a framework that ensure following two things:
a.Provide IT infrastructure support to organization
b.Enables the success of company's corporate strategies and objectives through IT.
The official standard of IT Governance is ISO:IEC 38500:2015. The three most common
third party IT Governance frameworks are ITIL, COBIT and ISO 27002.
It is important for the IT manager to have this in place for the success of the
organization.It is important for organiations as today they are subject to many regulations governing the protection of confidential information, financial accountability, data retention and disaster recovery etc.They're also under pressure from shareholders, stakeholders and customers.
Besides this IT governance deals with following aspects also:
