'Think out of the box' sounds really cool these days when your boss suggests that, but consequences of this encouragement can be seen in real life too. We human, these days, aren’t going in the direction which was guided naturally by our ancestors rather we are moving into the direction which never written anywhere, nor our environment was ever ready.
Human interference in natural climate, natural resources and natural properties are the cause of where we are today. Almost everyday going, scientist our experiencing the fall in the quality of natural climate be in the form of global warming or in the form of natural disasters which some of the economy are facing these days like what happened in Indonesia last year November 2017 or Hongkong just recently 2018.
Aren't we our self-responsible for this frequent earthquakes or landslide or natural disaster, somewhere! Blaming Government is easy, but who makes the government, our self, humans.
Today if we read, who is the king of the market, the answer would be consumers. Corporates are extensively following to what consumer demands these days and so consuming venomously the natural resources of our society. Human need to change their attitude and should be willing to work on at least for their future generation.
We human should follow and lead the green initiatives introduce by our government. Whatever they recommend planting of more trees, banned of plastic bags, re-using scraps, etc.
Corporates are more responsible towards this pollution and environment problems. As Adam Smith said, consumers are dependent on the corporates for their necessities, but they don’t how are they be used and harassed by the corporate's other way round. Consumers need to more active and should what be good or bad for him. These days even the natural fruit or food is not natural anymore. They are being Injected to make them look tempting apparently are being done by this business to increase the sale and profitability and to make fool of the common man.
Even the work done unintentionally or intentionally doesn’t matter. What matter is making good to the wrong act done. Intentions plays no important role in environment. If you are using an old vehicle, unintentionally also you are causing the environment with bad pollution. More examples would be waste of water, electricity, gas or any act of negligence.
Just to satisfy our personal needs or fantasy, nature need not to be compromised. There are various substitutes or alternatives available these days. Such as use of solar energy to save the electricity. Cleaning of water for re-use consumption, planting of more trees to safeguard against global warming, if you remove one tree, re-plant one tree somewhere else.
Population control is also a major cause. As more the population, greater would be the consumption of natural resources. Innovative ways and creative ideas must be welcome on how we can minimize the use of the natural resources without compromising our own needs. Technological advancement is really required for this initiative.
Corporates lately, has recognised this somewhere, more and more corporates be contributing towards Corporate social responsibility extensively. Government also rewarding them, and consumers are appreciating those corporates which ultimately increasing their goodwill in the market and brand image.
Now you can see many companies working for organic products and consumers also liking the same. They have released the potential for good earning and good reputation is based on offering the good product. People prefer the original and quality product and those organic has more demand.
Individuals and business both need to work together to improve the climate specially protecting greenhouse gas emissions which is caused by majorly increased population.
To attain the sustainability, our three main pillars, that is Government, society, and environment all plays vital role. There is a difference between need and desire. What we need and what we desire must not affect the environment.
