Hey, Please I need My memo homework to be check:

To John Raines

I would like to have your attention to the issue that we are facing in achieving the project. First, there is a serious concern related our personal safety. Many of the employees are complaining regarding the dust level of the environment. Also, we are getting reports from our safety inspectors that few of the workers are not wearing helmets in the workplace. The last audit notice 12 such cases. The more severe form of violation resulted from hand cuts from the machinery and high-speed driving of the cement pouring truck drivers. These are highly alarming, and I suggest that we call for a meeting with all of our subcontractors to discuss about safety at the work place before any incident happens.

Concerning the schedule, we are two days behind the estimate date. This was because of the three-cement pouring for the tower wall which were delayed an hour each on April 21 caused by light rain. The last Monday, work could not be continued due to heavy rain. The schedule may be postponed further by one week as the subcontractor, Allis Wire, Inc., has informed that there will be a two-day late in delivering the steel reinforcing wires that go into the concrete walls.

The third, the problem of theft are the most important issue. Although there have not been any major thefts at the site, some miscellaneous boards and masonry pieces are missing each day. I suppose these are picked up by the local residents doing small home projects thinking that they are discarded items from the project work. In order to prevent these incidents, we are installing additional “No trespassing” signs inside and outside the premises.

Regards

Explanation / Answer

Hello, I have made a few changes highlighted in bold.

I would like to draw your attention to the issue we are facing in completing the project on time. Firstly, there is a serious concern related to our personal safety. Many employees are complaining regarding the dust level in the environment. Also, we are getting reports from our safety inspectors that few workers are not wearing helmets at the workplace. The last audit noticed 12 such cases. The more severe form of violation resulted from hand cuts from the machinery and high-speed driving of the cement pouring truck drivers. These are highly alarming incidents, and I suggest we call for a meeting with all of our subcontractors to discuss safety at the workplace before any unfortunate incident happens.

Secondly, we are two days behind the estimated date of completion. This is because of the three-cement pouring for the tower wall which was delayed by an hour each on April 21 caused by light rain. Last Monday, work could not be continued due to heavy rain. The schedule may be delayed further by one week as the subcontractor, Allis Wire, Inc., has informed that there will be a two-day delay in delivering the steel reinforcing wires that go into the concrete walls.

Lastly, the third problem is theft, which is the most important issue. Although there have not been any major thefts at the site, some miscellaneous boards and masonry pieces are missing every day. I suppose these are picked up by the local residents executing small home projects thinking that these are discarded items from the project work. In order to prevent these incidents, we are installing additional “No trespassing” signs inside and outside the premises.
