Although there were warnings to get out of the area before the water rose so high, Sheila decided to try to stay to protect her home. Sheila also does not own a car and had no way to transport herself and the children. Now that the water has risen so high she is trapped and is desperate to save her children. There are many other people in her neighborhood who also need to be rescued. Sheila must decide how she can position herself to get on one of the first boats so that she can get to safety

During the flood situation Sheila can use various to protect herself and her children. The few methods are listed below:

1.As in the question mentioned that Sheila does not own the car to drive through the water. Also some time it is not advisable to drive during floods. She can go to the higher floor of his house along with her children and wave through the window to the rescuing boats so that they can look towards her and save her at the priority.

3. She can take the support of some furnitute to stay firm in the standing water.
