Recommendations for Sally:

I recommend on the job training to Sally. This is because knowledge regarding any subject can be easily acquired by doing it. It is true that seminar & classes impart good knowledge to a person but it is not equivalent to on the job training. During the job, one learns how to face the problem and try to find alternative on his own ability which actually has highest impact in ones career.

3 strongest asset:

Analytics and research skills, communication and ability to wear multiple hats.

As a research analyst I am very much interest in analyzing and research data. This is also strongest asset I have. Communication is very essence of modern day job. I person who is oasis of knowledge might not succeed if he is poor in communication. In modern day work culture, one should have good flexibility to adopt to job. This helps in moving up the ladder.

How to improve it:

All these skills can be improved by continuously using it. i.e. one should daily use these skills in work place to sharpen it. As new projects comes analytics and research skills improve. By communicating with coworkers communication improves.

As I move up the ladder in corporate world leadership, planning and personal management are the key skills to learn. These are the skills which build leader. Hence these are vital skills for corporate growth.

How to acquire:

I strongly believe that on the job training is the best way to learn. Hence I would prefer on the job training the most. Along with this I would also prefer online classes and seminar.
