Explanation / Answer
Ethics of care is a cluster of normative ethics theory which gain more popularity in second half of 20th century. It focus on moral action centers on interpersonal relationships of women particularly. The base for this theory is to raise voice by supporting to women, and the assumption is that the early ethical theories explians the views by considering the issues of male only.
For example: Utilitarian thoery says that, the act which provide good for more number of people, should accepted and followed. The good is usually performed by male people only.
The other theory, Duty of ethics, perform your duty without fail, and do not expect any thing as result. It also focus on the duty of male people.
But, the critique over Care of Ethics theory is, it assumes that all the remaining ethical theories were developed by considering the issues and aspects of male people only. But it is compltely wrong notion and assumption, all the early ethical theories expalined the regular issues of all kinds of people but not only type or gender.
No law harms intentionally people and society, similarly all these theories also. These theories were prepared based on some psychological strugles of individuals. For each individual, her/his heart and mind is the supreme. By considering these two, one should proceed. There is no need of any legal intervention or support etc. But some times, we may face some legal problems.
For example: If we follow utilitarian theory, it may be legally not encouraged or supported. If you theft huge funds from rich person and donate to many poor, resulted benefited to the poor. But legally these kind of actions were not accepted and encouraged.
