The article that I have chosen for this analysis is “Human resource management practices and organizational effectiveness: internal fit matters”.
Summary of article: This article basically highlights the impact of Human resource practices on organizational effectiveness. The researcher have utilized research tools to collect the data in support of his hypothesis and proved it to be correct. The tool used for collection of data was questionnaires. The survey was conducted in US motor carriers. And as proof of organizational effectiveness the report that was submitted to U.S. government by motor carriers was used.
The authors also backed up the fact that organizational effectiveness levels are increased by implementation of HRM practices that mainly involve performance-based pay, selectivity in planning, and letting employees participate in decision making process.
