Google has an effective organizational culture. It has flat structure with a management which is minimal middle and upper level. This helps for more creativity and it helps for less micro management. It helps the employees for problem solving skills and innovation is encouraged by the company. It has an effective and open culture. This helps for free flow of information wherein there is effective and free flow of ideas. The importance of TGIF meetings helps the employees by letting them meet the top executives and they are allowed to contribute by giving ideas and encouraged to ask questions. The useful strategy of open line of communication is useful with meetings, email and the policy of open door. The relaxing elements like cafe helps the employees to bond with each other. The information of the company is transparent and allows for free flow of ideas. It encourages training and development making employee engagement an important factor.
The success of the company is attached to the organizational culture and structure with support for excellence and innovation. There is stress given to change and important social links. There are strong ties and organizational structure. The organizational culture has important points of family like support. The environment is warm and it helps the smart employees who stress on excellence (Alvesson 2012)
