Explanation / Answer

One of the ethical dilemmas I may experience in my job may include the situation where I may require favoring my friends while taking decisions. Some situations may arise where the relationships and organizational values conflict. In order to ensure ethical behavior we should act as per the organizational values and ensure that our decisions are not followed by favoritism. Another ethical dilemma we may face is the situations where we need to be dishonest and hide some facts from the supervisors. We should learn to be honest in all our actions and should understand the fact that hiding will only worsen the situation. We should have the courage to be open and discuss with the management regarding the issues. Organizational values always promote honesty and integrity in workplace. I would try to be honest in all my actions and try to protect integrity. I know that my organization cannot grow without the support from the employees and the employee growth also depends on organization. I would work with dedication and ensure that I give my 100 percent in achieving the goals. I would also try to be friendly with my colleagues and reduce the chances of conflicts in the work place. I would also try to take ethical decisions in all circumstances and take care of the organizational values. In order to improve myself, I need to have control over my emotions and avoid conflicts. I will not be able to progress if I get angry for small issues. I should also get rid of my shyness and communicate openly with the colleagues as well as supervisors to be successful in my career. I should also learn to make use of the opportunities that may arise during employment in the form of new responsibilities, training programs etc to progress.
