both tariffs and quotas help a nation and to its domestic producers from international producers to a product market. in this the domestic governmet prepare some policies regarding trade quotas and tariffs in a way that the domestic producers and supplers will be protected from international trades and from traders. even it is applicable to US also. it has to be protect its domestic producers in all aspects. if not, there are many nations like china nd india which can capture US market in all aspects. because the availability of labor at cheap cost and the material at less cots and some other factors also.
