In the first case, the leadership challenge is to build teams and talent. Organisations not only build business but they also build leaders and leadership. Leadership skills are tested at every level. New leadership skills are in high demand these days. Organisations are looking for talent who is an entrepreneur, who can generate the business, scale leaders who can build up a business, efficiency leaders, who can help in reducing costs and improving operations and fix-it leaders who can turn the business around. However, Deloitte management is experiencing a decline in leadership. The company will need to re-examine the leadership styles they are following. There is a skill-set required to fulfill the leadership goals and demands. The leaders should be able to lead and develop the workforce and their capabilities.

In the second case, the leadership challenge is described as managing the internal stakeholders. The major issue that comes up with managing internal stakeholders was cultural conflicts. Effective leaders will be able to manage diversity effectively and create a team of culturally diverse people. The company should create an effective leadership program so that the current leaders can be efficient future leaders as well. The leader should be transparent with the team and should be able to communicate in a better way.
