Explanation / Answer

1) The three indicators of power are: who benefits? who governs? and who wins? These indicators are used where people seek to get the benefit from the experiences and objects that can make their life better and happier. Be it owning a property, a high-income job, health amenities or any other values that can make their lives easy. These values are distributed in the society unequally and it can be utilized as a power indicator. The more a person is benefitted, the more powerful he is assumed to be.

3) The three components of the policy-planning network are- foundations, think tanks and policy formation groups. The tax-free foundations receive money from corporations and wealthy families and finance education, research and policy discussion. The think tanks hire experts to suggest policies to deal with problems that the economy and government is facing. The policy formation groups bring the corporate executives, wealthy individuals, experts and government officials together for lectures, meetings, forums and discussions on issues related to the local, international, economic, political and cultural environment.

5) The four aspects of Hamilton's "energetic executive" are unity, duration, adequate provision for its support and competent powers. Unity brings safety and energy. Unity comes from a single person's proceedings of decision, activity, secrecy and dispatch. Duration is the term which should be long enough to form a stable government. Support refers to the salary which will avoid corruption and attract only honest and capable men. Competent powers are guaranteed by the constitution and are mentioned in the Federalist no. 70.
