performance appraisal is the process of evaluating employee performance with related to his job. i.e. how accurately, and effectively an employee is performing his job, they will be compare with a bench mark performance to the work. here employee performance, attitude towards the work will be considered. where as performance management deals with the process by which the managers to the firm and employees, work together to define the objects, to plan, monitor and review an employee's work objectives and overall contribution to the organization.
