Patients arrive to the health center. On average a patient arrives every 5 minutes. Patients can generally be classified in 3 levels of severity: minor injuries (60%), serious condition (35%) and deadly injury (5%). At the reception, a nurse is responsible for the triage of patients. It takes between 60 to 180 seconds for the nurse to determine the condition of an incoming patient. After the triage, the patients are directed to three distinct waiting lines based on their level of severity. A minor injury patient will be seen by a nurse. This check-up time follows a normal distribution with a mean of 15 minutes and a standard deviation of 3 minutes. A serious condition patient requires a nurse and a doctor. This process takes between 30 and 45 minutes. A patient with a deadly condition requires 2 nurses and 3 doctors. Generally this process takes 1 hour, but it may vary from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.
