Explanation / Answer

2). Green house gases include water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and chlorofluorocarbons. These are helpful in maintaining the temperature of the earth. They form a life supporting environment. Some of them protects earth surface from harmful rays like UV rays. 7).Animals adding to the endangered species list are increasing day by day. Many animals are extinct today. If this continues there will be an imbalance created in living system which affects humans also. So, we have to protect the wild life. Precautionary steps have to be taken by government and people should follow them. Bio reserves have to be maintained. Children should be educated about importance of wild life and their protection. 8).Some of the effects of pollution are reversible. Temporary changes in the environment can be brought back to their normal state. Damage from water pollution can be reversible. But only up to a certain extent only this reversible property can be applied. Example – garbage and polluted water can be cleaned and purified respectively.
