He had full-thickness burns on his face and bald head and on both of his arms and hands – as well as a mixture of superficial and deep partial-thickness burns on his anterior trunk. His genital area, lower extremities, and posterior body were not burned. After assessment and emergency stabilization, Mr. Eisner was transported to a regional burn center for care.

Explanation / Answer

The superficial and deep partial thickness burns on anterior trunk of the body of Me. Eisner will cause most pain. It occurs due to exposure of the nerves present in the epidermis. So these nerves receives the signals of pain and send to the brain while in case of full thikness burns the nerves got damaged and were not able to send the messege. So superficial and deep partial thickness burns causes more pain than full thikness burns.
